TESTIMONIALS
I trained with Liam in person, three times per week for nearly a year and a half.
When I met Liam, I had a degenerative hip condition that severely limited my ability and my confidence to exercise. Liam took the time to research and learn about my condition and created a program that would put me in the best possible condition for my future hip replacement surgery. As I had not exercised or done weights in many years, we had to start with the bare-bone basics. This required a lot of trust and vulnerability on my behalf. Liam made me feel at ease, was extremely patient and helped me not to lose sight of the end goal. I am happy to say that I had my surgery just over a month ago (September 2024), and my recovery has been nothing short of remarkable. Due to my work with Liam, I was walking without a walker and off pain meds within days of my surgery. I am even returning to the gym to start lifting weights again.
I feel so fortunate that I was able to have Liam as my trainer. When starting to weight train, it is crucial to learn the importance of good form and how to alter exercises to suit your body. Liam excels in this area. Not only is he highly knowledgeable, but he is very passionate about what he does. These qualities, along with a great sense of humour, make him an excellent personal trainer. Training with Liam taught me to prioritize my physical health. Weight training and physical activity will always be a part of my lifestyle moving forward.
Thank you, Liam!

After 40 years behind a desk I finally decided to focus on my health. I had no experience with weight training, and was 50 pounds overweight.
I decided to work with a personal trainer because I wanted to learn correct technique to maximize return on effort (and avoid injury), and to have routines created for me that properly developed my ability and moved me forward. I didn’t feel that I needed a “motivator”, because I already had my own motivation, but having these scheduled with someone always creates a commitment. I wanted to just “get more fit”, but I also had the goal of being lighter, stronger and more toned.
I worked with three trainers before meeting Liam. I stayed with Liam because of how incredibly adaptable he was to what I needed.
My first trainer was lighter on technique and education, and very high on “great job!” motivation. My second was very low on both of these elements, and pushed me into exercises that I felt were beyond my ability, too soon, causing injury.
Liam’s strong focus on core and joint stability in our early phases really established a strong foundation for me. I have a strong desire to learn, and understand the science behind things, and Liam’s willingness to always answer my questions (“why are we doing this exercise, what exactly does it contribute?”) was very important to me.
At more than sixty years of age we all accumulate various pains and aches. Whenever I expressed discomfort in a specific exercise Liam would stop us, ask questions about what I was feeling and where, and recommend adjustments to still be able to workout a particular muscle, while avoiding pain or worsening injury.
He is laser focussed on what you are doing. Walking around you, studying your movement, posture, etc. and nudging change to keep you effective. Sometimes these adjustments were incredibly minor, yet effective. I now have “Liam in my ear”, and whenever I find myself getting lazy in a particular set I catch myself and make the required corrections.
Eight months later I am down more than thirty pounds, my body fat percentage went from thirty-five percent to twenty-seven, I have lost five inches in my waist, and most importantly I feel so much better. This is still a journey (as it should be), and I have much more work to do, but I could not have made this change without Liam!

During the early days of the pandemic I neglected my fitness completely and as a result suffered an acute turned chronic shoulder injury and ongoing knee problems.
Initially I was matched with Liam to complete my remaining PT sessions virtually but decided to continue as it was quickly evident he held an unsurmountable amount of knowledge on muscle mechanics.
Through a graduated program of working my weak areas and continuing to exercise correctly, I steadily regained my mobility which I believed would never return after intensive physical therapy.
I appreciate Liam for his knowledge, his attention to detail, the way he monitors each exercise execution and the sequential programming. By far the programming is the best I’ve encountered in my fitness journey-it’s easy to trust the process!
I would recommend training to everyone and most specifically those who feel they are struggling with mobility.

Training with Liam has been an outstanding experience. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about creating effective workout programs and effectively blends strength and conditioning theory with intense, motivating sessions.
Liam consistently pushed me beyond my limits showing me what I was capable of. He also expertly guided me through recovery from two different injuries.
Developing a rapport with Liam was effortless, making each session enjoyable and something to look forward to. The variety and creativity in the workouts kept things interesting and fun. Working with Liam has also given me the confidence to feel comfortable on my own in the gym.
I highly recommend him for anyone serious about reaching their fitness goals.

When I started working with Liam, my goal was weight loss. My retirement from completive sport collided with gym shutdowns due to Covid, and this took a toll on my physical health. He helped me in achieving my goal weight, while building muscle mass at the same time, without sacrificing any part of my busy personal life.
Liam was and has continued to be thorough and thoughtful when building fitness plans, considering goals, commitment levels, comfortability, and outside factors in my personal life. He understands that fitness is absolutely not a one-size-fits-all and approaches each of his clients’ journeys as unique. Liam understands that commitment level to your fitness journey can fluctuate as life ebbs and flows, and is always understanding and accommodating in his planning to your needs. That being said, he will always give you the necessary kick in the butt to get back on track.
Through the past 2.5 years of training, I’ve changed how I view my health and fitness, and it has become more of a lifestyle rather than a task out of obligation. I now look forward to going to the gym and enjoy my workouts. My nutrition has very much changed for the better since I before I started thanks to his tips and advice through tracking, and doesn’t feel at all like I’m “dieting”.
You can always tell when someone is passionate about what they do, which is absolutely the case with Liam. He genuinely enjoys helping people reach their goals, celebrating his client’s successes with them, and forever continuing to expand his knowledge to provide the best service possible. I’ve tried in the past to adapt to a fitness-based lifestyle, which would always come and go as phases when left up to myself. With Liam’s help, it no longer feels like a chore or obligation. I don’t think I would have ever got to where I am without his help!

I started working with Liam approximately 2 1/2 years ago. At the time I was looking for someone to teach me how to exercise correctly, motivate me to put the work in, and push me to work harder.
Liam not only helped me with those goals, but he also took on the challenge of training me to compete in a body building competition.
He is very knowledgeable about training, but also cares about doing what is best for you and your body. I found his expertise invaluable.

I am a 65 years old male. I have been working out since 2007. I have had personal trainers for about 10 years in total. I was also working out on my own a for a while. I started working out with Liam about a year ago. My experience with Liam is different than other trainers. Liam really understands my needs based on my age, while also both my physical and mental strength. Since l worked with Liam, he has helped me to improve my strength, balance, agility and technique.
Liam really pays attention to the details of each movement and adjusting my starting position, tempo, and movement. This type of detail allows my exercise to become more efficient and effective.
I have never been taught these cues and techniques from my previous trainers. My improvement in all areas has been significant.
One very noticeable improvement is my running. I started my workout with a 7 km run on the treadmill. My average speed was 9.2 km / hour for many years. And my last run was at 10.2 km/ hr. I also broke my own 5 km within 30 minutes record. That’s all attributed to the way Liam has trained me both physically and mentally.
Once again thank you Liam for all your hard work and care.

I’ve been really happy about the results I’ve been achieving through Liam’s training.
I’m a competitive dodgeball athlete who wants to achieve a dream of qualifying for a national team, and to do so I needed to increase my speed, strength and mobility to support a faster game.
Liam was able to understand the unique requirements of my sport and develop programming aimed at building up my strength, explosiveness and resistance to injury.
Liam loves to share his knowledge and experiences and you can build up your own understanding of athletics by being engaged and asking as many questions as you can.
I’d highly recommend working with Liam if you’re an athlete devoted to building a physical foundation for elevating your performance.
